A peer-reviewed in vitro study evaluated the anti-inflammatory effect of Andrographis paniculata (Andropure™) against LPS-induced inflammation in activated RAW 264.7 macrophage cell lines.
The investigation assessed Andropure™’s effect on key pro-inflammatory mediators — TNF-α, IL-6 and Nitric Oxide (NO) generation — central markers in the inflammatory response.
The findings support the traditional use of Andrographis as an anti-inflammatory botanical and provide a modern, cell-based rationale for its inclusion in immune-support formulations. (Full study available on request.)
