Ingex Botanicals has a stringent Quality control department, which ensures the quality of ingredients at each stage. Phytochemicals and marker compounds of each product are quantified using the most sophisticated analytical instruments like HPTLC, HPLC, GC, LC-MS-MS, GC-MS-MS etc. to ensure the identity, strength and purity.

We prioritize the safety of our ingredients, which is why we test them for various parameters such as residual solvents, microbial contamination, aflatoxins, heavy metals, and pesticide residues. We use validated and sensitive analytical methods for these tests.

Our quality starts with farming and harvesting to ensure herb authenticity and identity. Every starting material is tested for various parameters as per the regulations and predefined specifications. Our good cultivation practises avoid contamination from pesticides, environmental contaminants, mycotoxins etc.

Our Quality System Screens Adulteration

Adulteration and substitution are the key threats in the natural product industry. Our scientists work round the clock to ensure the authenticity of our ingredients using morphological, microscopic, phytochemical and DNA based methods. Each species is mapped for its botanical identity and species authentication is cross-validated by third party research institutes.

Every Batch Is Tested

We use various identity testing methods like TLC/HPTLC, HPLC etc. Purity and Strength of each lot is tested by HPLC, UV-Spectroscopy, GC-HS, GC-MS etc. We use ELISA reader for Bio Assay determination. Probable contaminants like Poly Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAH), Pyrrolizidine Alkaloids (PA), Ethylene Tri Oxide (ETO), Pesticides, Mycotoxins, Plasticisers. Our well-equipped Microbiology lab is capable of identifying a wide range of microbes.
