Empowering farming communities, educating children, and building a better nation — one initiative at a time.
Ingex Botanicals is committed to supporting the families of farmers by assisting in the education of their children. Our aim is to contribute to the development of a better nation by fostering a smarter and more educated generation.
We believe that a thriving farming community is the backbone of our botanical supply chain — and our success is intrinsically linked to the wellbeing of every family that partners with us.
Our InitiativesThe success of any herbal-based product relies on the ready availability of high-quality medicinal herbs. With this in mind, Ingex Botanicals has ventured into contract farming. This initiative is fulfilling in two ways: it ensures the availability of quality raw materials and allows us to give back to society by supporting our farmers as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility.
At Ingex Botanicals, we have directly engaged over 5,000 farmers in South India in the cultivation of medicinal plants across more than 10,000 acres. This initiative has brought numerous benefits to the farming community, resulting in higher income levels for farmers and significantly improving their standard and quality of living.
We directly buy-back from farmers to ensure they receive better returns. By advancing funds and making periodic payments, we address the farmers' financial needs. We also provide high-quality seeds, bio-fertilizers, and bio-pesticides, and educate farmers on Good Agricultural Practices. This approach ensures optimal yields from the agricultural land, thereby increasing the farmers' earnings.
Our agreement with farmers guarantees them a fixed income, providing greater financial stability. We promote the use of bio-pesticides and bio-fertilizers to preserve soil integrity for sustainable farming. This approach prevents periods of inactivity caused by the indiscriminate use of chemical pesticides, thereby safeguarding the farmers' interests and ensuring continuous cultivation.
Better remuneration and assured incomes have directly resulted in the overall improvement in the quality of life of the farmers and their families too. Their children are able to attend school regularly and all their health related requirements are being taken care of.
We conduct medical camps for the farmers and their families, in addition to their routine illness being treated. They are also given basic knowledge about cleanliness, hygiene and other preventive methods.
